So excited to now have this restaurant in Western Shawnee. We have needed something like this for a long time. They did a great job remodeling the space and brightening it up to make it casual, but nice. Service was great and food is as good as the other locations for Nick and Jakes. I am so excited because I have heard that they are going to start doing brunch here this weekend. The outside patios look like they will be an awesome space to enjoy dinner and drinks once they are complete. Kids meals comes with grapes and cheese it's, to keep the kids happy right off the bat. Check it out and give it a try!

Had lunch today with my friend. Sat on the bar side. Love the openness and design. Our waiter Vaughan was nice and attentive. I had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes gray and side of mushrooms. My friend tried Chardonnay chicken. Everything was good. I missed that they don't have Smothered chicken like the one on 135th. But I was told 135th wouldn't be serving it much longer either. That's one of my favorite dishes at Nick and Jake's. Hopefully they will bring it back soon!!Definitely will go back. Love Nick and Jake's!

The food was outstanding, the waitress could not have done a better job. I honestly went out thinking this place was all hype. I certainly couldn't have been more wrong. Will definitely take my wife on another date to Nick & Jake's.

Clean and fresh look at this new Nick & Jake's location. We took advantage of some of the great happy hour specials, enjoying the lobster mac-n-cheese, spinach artichoke dip and the amply sized chicken quesadillas! I also had their "slugger" (tall glass) of KC Bier Co's Dunkel which they had on tap. The service was friendly and attentive; will definitely be back. Can't wait for their patios to open! Oh, finally, ate the salmon BLT for dinner. Mmm mmm. But really enjoyed meeting up with our friends here.

Finally a high quality restaurant in west Shawnee! Salads, entrees, appetizers, daily specials are always top notch. Have sampled most of the menu and always walk away satisfied.

The decorum is really nice. On weekends there's going to be a long wait. We went on a Monday at 5:45 p.m. and we're seated immediately. The staff was friendly. We had a young waitress who was very good. My wife loved her lobster macaroni and cheese. The scallops were apparently very good. My son's burger look great and he said it tasted very good. My meatloaf was okay. I'll give it a b minus. We ordered the Kansas City steak soup and we're disappointed. The meat was all ground up and I would have expected pieces of steak. The margarita was very good. It was called Margarita Carmen Casino. My wife wasn't a big fan of her sangria. The Moscow mule wasn't very good. The happy hour drink menu, pictured, is pretty limited.

Despite it being busy (and a game day) we were seated immediately. Our server (Elaina/Alena) was quick and attentive taking our drink orders and explaining the brunch buffet. She kept our drinks full and checked in frequently. The food was all delicious, and I probably had 5 cups of coffee. Great brunch place, lovely staff. Highly recommend. It is a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality of food and service.

Loving the new location! Great atmosphere. Decided to try a new dish and it was delicious. I got the smoked chicken pasta. I wasn't sure based on the menu description but I decided to give it a try. I will definitely be getting it again the next time I come. It was just too good for me not to order it again. Check this restaurant out in their newest location.

Our first time to N&J. We had dinner in the bar area. It is a very nice environment, not too loud even though there are lots of TV's to watch sports events. The food was all really good, and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Hit and miss on the food. Last time my chicken fingers were so dry had to wash it diet and fries barely warm. Signature cocktails good. Service friendly and prompt. Beware this place is always busy with any time

I would give this place 10 stars out of 5 if I could. The food, staff, atmosphere, etc. have been excellent every time and the manager, Andy, really cares about his customers. Our party usually includes someone with extremely tricky allergies (also kind of picky, wants everything to be loaded with flavor in spite of all the food limitations) and Andy went two extra miles to make sure his food was safe and flavorful.Definitely recommend the Sunday Brunch Buffet but everything I've had at this location has been excellent.

It was our first time eating here. Service was great and food was even better! Drinks were strong and flavorful. Shelia was our server and was so nice and answered a ton of questions since it was our first time eating out since the virus. Hosts were constantly cleaning and wiping down menus, tables, rails. Very grateful the team here took care to keep everything clean. It made my wife feel very comfortable.

Nick and Jake’s Shawnee is back and better than ever! Curbside pickup was well-executed. Ordered by telephone today and paid online. Food was fresh and prepared to order; Rueben with crispy pub chips and Texas Club with coleslaw. Place an order and enjoy!

Nice outdoor seating with plenty of space and went on a week night so not crowded. This was my first time at a restaurant since COVID-19 and felt safe. And of course the food was delicious and our waitress was friendly.

Stopped in for a late lunch, first time here. Was greeted nicely at the door. The Food was great. Service was great. Try the pumkin cheesecake for dessert. Nice place to relax and have lunch in the bar area. We will be back :).

Always great fish specials. Havent ordered off the menu as of yet, because the fish dinners are so good for the price. Mahi mahi, grouper, salmon. Quite the diversity! Keep up the great specials!
